Tender announcement for privatization of Yenice Hydroelectric Power Plant located in Karabuk, Turkey, with a total installed capacity of 38 MW, has been published in the Official Gazette on 11 May 2017.
In accordance with the tender announcement, Yenice Hydroelectric Power Plant, which is owned by Electricity Generation Company (EÜAŞ), the state-owned electricity generation company, will be privatized through Transfer of Operational Rights within the framework of the Privatization Law No. 4046.
Legal entities and consortiums can participate in the tender. Private investment funds and individuals can also participate in the tender provided that they are a member of a consortium. Each participant shall sign a letter of undertaking on confidentiality. The tender method will be the negotiated tender procedure. Participants will be required to purchase tender documentation and submit a bid bond of TRY 10 million. Deadline for submission of the bids is 17:00 on 23 June 2017.
