General Information about the Port
The Tekirdağ Port is located in the Marmara region and currently operated by Türkiye Denizcilik İşletmeleri A.Ş. (TDİ). It has strategic importance because of its location, as the Marmara Region is the most active region of cargo handling, and because of its proximity to the largest trade center, Istanbul. The Port’s handling capacity of dry bulk and general cargo, as well as other major facilities handling liquid bulk cargo, provides a significant competitiveness to the Port across the region.
