On 23 June 2020, the Personal Data Protection Board (the “Board”) extended the deadlines for registration to the Data Controller Registry Information System (“VERBIS”) as follows:

| Data controllers (individuals and legal entities) whose number of employees is more than 50 or annual financial balance is more than TL 25 million | 30 September 2019 (which was extended twice to 31 December 2019 and 30 June 2020) | 30 September 2020 |
| Data controllers (individuals and legal entities) which are residing abroad | 30 September 2019 (which was extended twice to 31 December 2019 and 30 June 2020) | 30 September 2020 |
| Data controllers (individuals and legal entities) whose number of employees is less than 50 and annual financial balance is less than TL 25 million, while their main scope of activity includes the process of sensitive personal data | 31 March 2020 (which was extended to 30 September 2020) | 31 March 2021 |
| Data controllers which are public entities | 30 June 2020 (which was extended to 31 December 2020) | 31 March 2021 |
